While playing the role of Gabrielle, in Xena: Warrior Princess from 1996-2001, Renee observed six years of guest director’s approach to capturing the narrative, with special attention on highlighting action and special effects. Their television series filmed on Kodak’s 35 mm film cameras (“where every frame counts”) furthering her knowledge of the importance of the use of light, rehearsals, and staging.
Renee is utilizing her experience as a director in film, television and the stage, to bring a fresh perspective to her projects. Renee’s attention to detail, and her genuine appreciation for her team, creates an enriching, creative experience for all.
